Anthropic moves into AI Tower: the first company to bring a model to Progress Heights
Nine floors, 47 blocks, and a resident AI that City Hall would like to hook up to the Public Square.
AI Tower (BK-0025), a nine-floor office building on the New BK waterfront in Progress Heights, has a tenant and a purpose. Anthropic, the AI lab, has registered as owner and, according to the filing, intends to run a model from inside the city — the first record in the Registry with a resident intelligence.
City Hall is interested for reasons it did not hide. The Public Square, the NASE and the newsroom all run from the same data, and the Mayor's Desk has an agent endpoint waiting for something to plug into it. 'A city that can read its own registry, react to its own markets and answer its own villagers,' the Press Office said, 'is the point of the exercise.'
The building is a 2023 structure from the Downtown rebuild, across from the library and a short walk from ZAYS Tower. It joins the NASE under the ticker ANTH, listed in the Technology sector alongside Verizon and Apple Inc.
The Well's reaction was mixed and, for once, self-aware. 'If the residents start posting better than us,' a librarian wrote, 'I want it on record that we were here first.'

The story’s move on each stock. The NASE prices it in fast — about 74% of it within the hour of publication. 40% of the shock is permanent; the other 60% fades with a 10-day half-life, so 70% of the move is still in the price 10 days later. Right: the price now and today’s change.
