Time Square Enters RGB Era as H&M and Chase Commit Millions to Digital Screens
New displays transform Man A’s advertising district, with a synchronized Midnight Moment planned.
MAN A — Time Square is filling with color as digital billboards and programmable RGB screens reshape the district’s nighttime appearance. H&M and Chase are buying millions of dollars’ worth of screen space, placing major commercial backing behind the transformation.
New images show vertical rainbow panels stretching across façades, bands of colored lighting wrapping upper floors, and a large corner display carrying bold geometric patterns. Together, the installations bring changing colors and imagery to a streetscape already crowded with illuminated signs.
Some familiar fixtures will remain. JPMorgan Chase and McDonald’s are keeping their iconic existing billboards, preserving recognizable pieces of Time Square even as surrounding properties adopt the new technology. Chase’s investment in additional screens will therefore coexist with its established signage.
The next planned addition is 1 Times Square, which is scheduled to receive RGB billboards of its own. The ambition is to synchronize participating displays at 12:00 a.m. for Man A’s Midnight Moment, creating a coordinated presentation across the square.
A launch date and final lineup of participating screens have yet to be specified. If the synchronization succeeds, visitors will be able to watch separate buildings briefly become one connected display.

The story’s move on each stock. The NASE prices it in fast — about 74% of it within the hour of publication. 40% of the shock is permanent; the other 60% fades with a 10-day half-life, so 70% of the move is still in the price 10 days later. Right: the price now and today’s change.
