At this point, the spire was not added yet, but this tower was absolutely monumental for the city. You can barely see one floor inside the building, but the entire facade has been built out and the core is clearly visible. The tower was built with snow blocks and ice blocks. The facade and core was finished in March 2015 while the spire was then finished April 17th, 2015. It topped out at 62 blocks tall without the spire and 103 blocks tall with the spire. It's estimated construction of this building took place between Mid March of 2015 to Late April of 2015.March 2015 · Lower Man AOverlooking Lower Man A under constructionIn this image 817 Canal Street is seen visibly under construction. The Lower Man A Mall Complex is not visible in this shot, meaning it really took off around the year 2015-2016, however there is a mysterious red building visible in it's place sitting on Broadway. This means Broadway has always been the evolutionarily center of Man A.

History of Man A

The whole city →

Building since 2013 — the oldest record still standing is Man A Center, a landmark. 24 buildings have been lost along the way.

  • April 2013Man A is founded a few months later — Across the New BK Bridge, Man A Center goes up at the foot of the bridge and First Tower — ten floors on an 8 × 9 lot at 2 Man A Square — becomes the city's first attempt at height. The Canal Street complex starts life the same year as a server room and redstone lab.
  • 2014First Avenue gets its first towers — Independence Tower at 1 Freedom Street and the First Avenue Building go up in Lower Man A, and the Bank of America Building rises 44 blocks in Midtown — all three 2014 records, all three landmarks today. Midtown Man A appears on the map for the first time.
  • 2015Mia's Plaza anchors Lower Man A — Kayla McCloud's eight-floor plaza at 650 Broadway, on a narrow 17 × 5 lot, becomes the heart of historic Lower Man A. Apple's eleven-floor tower at 817 Canal Street goes up the same year.
  • April 17, 2015The first One World Trade Center tops out at 103 blocks — Built of snow and ice blocks between mid-March and late April: 62 blocks without the spire, 103 with it. The city's first skyscraper over 100 blocks and the tallest tower in Man A until 2018.
  • 2016Man A Central Station opens — The city's first purpose-built transit terminal, serving New BK, Lower Man A, Midtown and New S on four lines — until it is cleared for Central Park in 2018.
  • 2017The 2017 griefing attack — Late in the year, TNT brings down One Silvernine — the main target — with Two Silvernine and the Bank of America Tower beside it. The collapse forces a major excavation; Silvernine Tower and 2 Silvernine Towers rise on the sites.
  • 2018One World Trade Center tops out at 158 blocks — On the site of the 2015 tower it replaced, and still the tallest structure in the Registry. Silvernine Tower rises over the 2017 attack site, and the ZAYS Bank Building, 815 Canal Street and ZAYS Tower in Downtown New BK follow in the same twelve months.
  • 2020The Empire State Building and City Hall are finished — Midtown gets its icon on the site of the old Man A Water Tower; Central Man A gets its seat of government. The Apple / GM Building on First Avenue, 3 World Trade Center, the Bank of America Tower and H&M Tower are 2020 records too.
  • 2021Freedom Street Station opens — The Metro's Lower Man A hub opens on the site of the old Ice Tower. McDonald's on Broadway is altered the same year.
  • 2024Trump Tower rises on First Avenue — Eleven floors and 51 blocks on the site of the old McDonald's anchor (2015–2018) — the second-tallest standing building on the avenue, a ranking the President's parody account disputes annually.
  • November 2, 2024Freedom Street Station reopens after the rebuild — With a passage to Cocoa Street Station and room for two-minute headways.
  • 2025270 Park Avenue — J.P. Morgan Chase's headquarters — Assessed at $1.58 billion — the most valuable privately owned building on the roll, second only to One World Trade Center. The jeweller's flagship next door at 269 Park Avenue and 100 DeKalb Avenue in Downtown New BK date from the same year.
  • January 5, 2025The Congestion Relief Zone opens — Nine emeralds to bring a minecart south of Central Park. Revenue goes to Metro signals and the Atlantic Terminal dig.
  • April 10, 2025The Registry inspects City Hall's basement — The Well's rumor of a gold vault under the mayor's office meets two clerks with a lantern. Paperwork, surveying tools, one returned ingot.
  • January 1, 2026Mamdani is sworn in on the steps of City Hall — First stop, the Metro: eleven minutes to Downtown New BK.
  • 2027Central Park Tower is due — Luxury above, shops below, on the edge of the park — where the old Midtown grocery stood until 2018.
