Building since 2013 — the oldest record still standing is First Building, a landmark. 10 buildings have been lost along the way.

• January 27, 2013New BK is founded — the first borough — The First Building at 1 Mii A Avenue, the New A Bank Center and the Mii A Church are the oldest walls still standing — all three landmarks today. Isaiah's Home, Mom's House, the Diamond Mini-Market and the first City Hall went up in the founding year too; the Registry keeps them in its historical register.
• July 2019Mill Bergen's first houses — The first homes go up on Mill Street and Church Avenue — 1412 Mill Street and 1397 Avenue N among them — on the residential side of New BK. Key Food opens on Avenue N the same year.
• 2023Downtown New BK is rebuilt — Isaiah's Home, 2 Mii A Avenue, Transfer Hall and the founding-era mini-markets are cleared in a multi-billion-dollar project. The New BK Public Library goes up and AI Tower rises on the waterfront. In Man A, The ZAY Building, One Man A Square, the Flatiron Building and Cocoa Street Station are 2023 records.
• 2024New BK Tower is completed — Sixteen floors, 77 blocks — the tallest building outside Man A, on the site of Isaiah's Home and Mom's House. Triangle Junction, Juniors and 97 Atlantic open the same year.
• 2024Progress Heights is established on infill — The newest New BK neighborhood, made from land the city built along the waterfront facing Man A and zoned for residential and hospitality. AI Tower and 97 Atlantic stand inside its border.
• 2026Atlantic Terminal is due to open — The Downtown New BK hub on Mii A Avenue — on the site of Transfer Hall and the founding-era mini-markets — is filed for completion in 2026, funded by the toll and matched by the state. City Hall has started saying 2027.
• February 3, 2026City Hall proposes a two-year rent freeze — About forty stabilized villager homes in Mill Bergen and Long Island. NARE and SLVR fall on the NASE.
• March 12, 2026A city-owned grocery for 4 Flatbush Avenue — The first of five, one per borough. Key Food, four blocks away, is watching.
• April 8, 2026The state matches the toll's Atlantic Terminal money — The Governor rides the Metro to City Hall, pledges the emeralds and fixes a turnstile.
• May 14, 2026Anthropic moves into AI Tower — The first record in the Registry with a resident model; ANTH lists on the NASE.
• September 5, 2026City Hall corrects the founding record — New BK first, Man A a few months later. The History page says so now.
